watched two julia roberts movies in a row yesterday.. hehe.. of course, watching pirated vcds.. haha.. anyway, is a very-clear-dvd-version vcds! So, they are very good in video quality and come with chinese and english subtitles.. hehe.. great! otherwise, maybe i can only understand 50% of the film! I still can't get used to American english. This causes me a big trouble when i first come to singapore and went for some movies without chinese subtitle!! One of these movies is "The Matrix 2 - Matrix reloaded".. ehhee.. u know, I could not understand what the "Kentucky Uncle" said in that movie.. and after the movie, my friend told me that is the most important part of the whole movie, in which "The Kentucky Uncle cum Architect" told us why and how he built The Matrix!!! My god.. at that moment, I really felt regretful.. I should have learnt my english well enough to cope with this!! Nevertheless, I will get myself a very-clear-dvd-version of The Matrix.. and watch it again!! ;-)
So back to my topic, I watched two julia roberts movies: My best friend's wedding and Runaway Bride. Personally, I don't really like the role in both of these movies.. but julia roberts really look pretty in both of these movies. In My best friend's wedding, she acted a woman that realized her true love a bit late (4 days before his wedding) and thought of 1001 ways to spoilt this wedding in order to snatch "Michael" back! However, the ending is nice ... at least I think all parties are happy.. this is the relationship.. sometimes u feel that u dun really like that person.. but actually u already fall for him/her.. just that u don want to admit that! ;-)
Runaway bride... a sequel of Pretty Woman.. hmm.. richard gere is no more handsome as he used to be.. julia roberts is as pretty as usual.. she turns to be a lady that don't know what she really wants.. and what kind of guy that she really need and want to spend the rest of her life with.. that's why she "fly a airplane" to her future-to-be husband for three times until she met richard gere.. hmm.. these two films have one similarity at least.. they pointed out that most of the time, woman don't know what kind of guy that they really want.. and they may change their mind very easily due to influences from other parties.. this is maybe the cause of so many unhappy lady and unhappy family.. as a lady, we should always talk to ourselves.. look through ourselves, think about what we really want to do.. what kind of life we really want to live on.. we should not just let our family, our boyfriend, our husband.. and our kid.. to become the rope that tie on our nose...

Diamonds are girl's best friend... hehe.. actually I don't quite agree with this.. Nevertheless, a lot of women like diamonds. They regards it as the most precious piece of jewellery among their collection. Diamond is also the symbol of commitment from their partners. Diamond.. diamond.. though I never really crazy about diamonds, I really want to know more about diamond. Why it is so expensive? What is so special about diamond?
By chance, I passed by a diamond exhibition by Tian Po Jewellery here in Orchard yesterday. It was an exhibition for "hearts-on-fire" series of diamonds.. hehe.. A kind sales person showed me a 0.33 carat diamond under a "binocular". It was very beautiful. Actually I dun have sufficient english vocabulary to describe what I have seen... maybe you may buy one and try to look at it.. hehe.. (I din buy any!) Besides, there was a presentation also on how to cut "hearts-on-fire" diamond (The world most perfectly cut diamond!!).. diamond is the hardest stone on this earth.. so they use other diamond to cut the rough diamond... one thing is really astonishing.. diamond consists of 58 facets and the "shi fu" cuts those facets equally and symmetric to each other... purely judged by his eyes only!! ;-)
After the exhibition, I do feel that diamond is special in its own way.. but still, I dun really wish to have one.. cause it is too expensive and not really practical lar..

It has been long since I last wrote here.. why?? hehe.. simple reason.. my laptop refused to work for last whole week.. and why?? becoz it complaint that its workload is more than it can handle.. haha.. in other words, I should not have given it too much work!! these are just all the excuses I gave myself to have one-week holiday!! hahah.. but the truth is that my hardisk faced a serious problem.. having ticking sound in the hardisk and.. it refused to start up my dear sweet windows.. so how?? I have gone back to my hometown.. and went to that dishonest computer shop and asked for hardisk warranty.. know what, the receipt stated that he sold me a brand new 20 GB Fujitsu hardisk.. but it turned out that the hardisk in my laptop was a IBM/Hitachi 20 GB hardisk.. so i scolded him.. haha.. what a great thing to do.. and he agreed to compensate a new hardisk to me.. hahaha.. must garang only then wont get bullied by these unkind people.. this is the new theory of my life now!! hehehee..
So, my laptop is back to normal now.. and maybe even better since I have cleared up a lot of rubbish in my laptop previously.. now listening to diana krall's "All for you" album... her voice is deep and "magnetic".. has a power of making you feel moody and sexy.. actually i should listen to her at night.. not now!!
