Life above the horizon

I have gone to USA Embassy in Singapore this morning. This is one of my "first times". Hehe... first time applying for USA Visa... It is located on Napier Road. Actually I didn't know how to get to that place. But I knew that it is nearby orchard road. Therefore, I took Bus 143 in order to reach Orchard Road and try to walk to USA Embassy from Orchard. Later on, I found out that the place is rather far from Orchard. By no choice, I took a cab. Spent SGD3 to save about 15 minutes' walk. ;-) Once I got to that place, I showed them the letter to ask me for an interview. The security personnel let me in but asked me to leave my bag and all other electronic equipments with them. After that, I went into the division where non-immigrant US visa is processed and got myself a "Q"-number. Then, a foreign guy interviewed me. He was very friendly and approved my visa application on the spot! Hehehe.. after all, this is a great experience for me and I am looking forward to go to Atlanta, USA. I think that will be another great experience for me since I've never been oversea before. ;-) Hopefully everything will be fine and smooth for my coming trip to USA.
