Hooray! I am in 2005.. How fortunate I am to be in 2005.. how many ppl have lost their lives in tsunami-striken areas? How many ppl have lost their family in this tragedy? How many ppl have lost their house and all properties?? But I am fortunate.. I am fortunate :) Okay I should start a new year with happier topic! hehe..
I watched "kung fu hustle" yesterday! Though there are some negative reviews on stephen chow's new movie, I am quite satisfied with this movie. It is one of the best made-in-hong-kong movies recently... He wrote, directed and acted in this movie.. I think this is not an easy task (That's y he took 3 years to produce it?!) I don want to repeat the story.. let you guys go and find it out yourself in the cinema or pirated vcds.. The effect is good and appropriate this time.. unlike "shaolin soccer", this movie is more mature and less "wu li tou"!! that's why some of the die-hard stephen chow's fans didn't like the movie.. since they expect more "wu li tou" in the movies.. but i think stephen chow is very smart.. he knows that "wu li tou" cant bring him more fame and also cannot last him longer in the "movie circle"! (A good example is jim carrey who is also slowly changing his movie style to more serious acting!) I think that's why he wanna change his style gradually.. the movie he made is deeper and less "wu li tou" now! That's a good change in my opinion.. He successfully made a good, motivated movie with a high-degree of humour integrated in this movie (e.g. the daggers stabbed into his body for three times! I laughed hysterically at this part!) I can feel that the structure of this movie is well-designed! The plot is well-written and almost all little details are taken care for! It is not easy for him to be a director, producer, writer and at the same time, a good comedian! final word ****/*****!!
